Obituary for John Ignaciuk

IGNACIUK, John
July 29, 1958 – May 18, 2017

John passed away peacefully at Mount Sinai hospital in Toronto at the age of 58 after a short illness with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Marlene (Thom) and devoted father to Andrew. John is predeceased by his father John (2002) and also survived by his mother Margaret and sister Alexandra (Neil).

John was born at Toronto Western Hospital, was raised in Etobicoke and, in 1989 with Marlene they made the decision to move to Cambridge where they have always enjoyed living in the little community known as Hespeler; John always said 'I live in Hespeler'. John will be remembered by many at Canadian Linen & Uniform where he worked for nearly 34 years in several plants and in various positions. John was friend to all, had many life-long friendships and, appreciated everyone. John was always positive, he loved to laugh, he loved having 'fun', he made things fun. John will be greatly missed by many.

John’s family will receive relatives and friends at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, on Friday, May 26th from 6:00-9:00pm and on Saturday, May 27th from 10:30am with Memorial Service at 11:30am in the chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

"Nostrovia, Ha, Ha, Ha!!"
