Condolence From: Cindy Reath
Condolence: Scott, you will be sadly missed.
You were a great colleague and friend to me.
We got to celebrate our Cinqo de Mayo mexican lunch we had been planning for weeks before you left us. I am thankful for that and our many discussions. You always provided a different thought or foresight to things which made you very easy and interesting to talk to.
Sometimes you got too HR-legal technical for me but hey, that was you :)
Rest in Peace Scott!

Condolence From: Ray McFalls
Condolence: I have wonderful memories at TMMC working with Scott. His laugh and sense of humor always made me smile. When I was fairly new to a management position Scott was a wonderful mentor to matters relating to people. He maintained a sense of balance between life and work, always putting people first.

Rest In Peace

My thoughts and condolences to Scotts family.

Condolence From: Glenn MacDonell
Condolence: I am deeply sadden to learn of Scott’s passing; a man of great passion and integrity.

While only having the pleasure of getting to know Scott over the past three years, he embraced the Special Olympics movement with a zeal and commitment that inspired his whole team at DENSO.

Few companies have created a better corporate volunteer model than DENSO and it was Scott’s embrace and encouragement that inspired hundreds of employees to get involved.

Take heart in the tributes and nice words you’ve heard over the past week for they are the only way we can show you that we too will miss Scott and that his contribution to Special Olympics was meaningful and heartfelt.

Scott’s passing will leave a void with many people but his legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and respected him.
Yours respectfully,
Glenn MacDonell President & C.E.O.

Condolence: It's been said that the more enriched a person makes our lives, it is harder to let them go.

I first met Scott when we were at TMMC and a friendship was instantly formed. Somewhere along the line he decided he was just going to call me "Mom" and it stuck. Scott made me laugh, smile or shake my head (in a good way).

He was caring, thoughtful, compassionate, encouraging, a great story teller, wicked sense of humour and a zest for life. These qualities made him the special person he was. He left a lifelong impression on all of those whose lives he touched. As a friend reminded me "how could you not like Scott"

You have left us far too soon and I will miss you. But your smile, laughter and memories forged will remain with me forever.

Rest in peace my friend.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Scott at Denso for 3 years. In that short period of time he became a friend and mentor. He would light up a room with his smile and laugh. He loved to spend time with his students allowing him to share his knowledge but also learn from others. His compassion for people was endless making him a perfect person to be in HR.

I will miss his laughter, his zest for life, his stories but most of all his friendship and support.

My thoughts go out to his family, his many friends and students. If you met Scott you did not forget Scott, he left a lasting impression with everyone.

Rest in peace my friend!!!

Condolence: I was a student of Scott's at Niagara University. I may have only been with him for 10 Saturdays of my life, he left an impact. Excellent teacher, always had a story to share to go along with the topic we were learning. When I think of him I think of his funny stories and his kind heart.
News of his passing shocks me beyond belief and I feel like I lost a friend. Rest in peace Professor McKee.

To the family - my thoughts and prayers are with you. I can imagine the loss you feel is great, he was a wonderful man.

Condolence: I first started working with Scott when I moved to Waterloo Region to practice law in 2002. I've worked with him in many different capacities since. I deeply appreciated his passion and dedication to his work and the HR profession as a whole. He was a great leader in the HR community. I'll greatly miss our exchange of ideas and discussions on how to improve employee relations. He will be missed.
